Viwe Nikita, a stunning Gospel artiste from South Africa. Her debut album, (God of everything) has broughther to the spotlight in Gospel music worldwide.
At the age of 4, she had just started to speak properly; She began singing with her mother during church services and ministry programmes. At that tender age her mother trained her on how to sing on the right key, how to project and how to conduct herself when singing in front of an audience.
Her mum was very strict with her, because she saw the gift that God had given her; so she pushed her and made sure that her gift was developed to its fullest.
Viwe grew up listening to a variety of music genres, Pop, Rock, Reggae, Jazz, House, Kwaito and all types of Gospel. Viwe was exposed to all these genres from an early age because her brothers also loved music, and each one of them would make her listen to the songs they loved; she knew all the songs that would play on radio and TV. She was well informed when it came to the latest albums and artists. At the age of 13 she was made choir conductor in church, because of her ability to lead and listen to music.
In high school Viwe was a member of the Student Christian Organisation (SCO) where she was one of the lead singers in the choir. She got some exposure around the Province (EC) ministering in weddings and other special events. Whilst growing up, if asked what She wanted to be in the future; her answer would always be - a musician. She had never pictured myself doing anything else but music; She was determined to make her dream come to pass.
Some of the musicians that inspired her were Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston and Yolanda Adams.
According to Viwe "I thank God for leading me to Believer's Loveworld Ministry, because it?s where the gift that God has given me flourished. I am where I am now because of being in BLW". I have developed in the area of song writing. I can write songs for myself and other people as well.
In 2005 Viwe appeared on Jam Alley on SABC1 as one of the contestants. I haven?t yet had any exposure nationally and internationally.
In 2009, she released a mix tape titled ?Make a Change? which had 3 songs in it. The mix-tape was more of a way to introduce herself to the music industry. And due to this mix-tape her fan base has grown and reached as far afield as Nigeria and the United Kingdom. Her time has finally come to stand under the spot light, and God is leading her all the way Currently.

That's a powerful number Sister Viwe. You are blessed to be in this great ministry- BLW
